About this trip
Kumrat is a long forest valley in Upper Dir, next to Swat and Chitral. The road ends at Thal, and from there a jeep track runs up through giant deodars beside the Panjkora river.
It is still quiet compared to Naran: camps under the trees, cold springs, meadows and a bonfire at night.
